The Strike Eagle is not being shopped to the US, but rather our allies looking to quickly and inexpensively build up an air force. It is not stealth, but does use stealthy features like radar absorbent materials, internal weapons bays, and canted tail pieces. It is being classified as a low observable aircraft (generation 4.5). Many have said that it has the radar cross section equal to that of the export model F-35. The new F-15 is expected to sell quickly to those who have been turned away by the high prices of 5th generation fighters. The SE has received sharp criticism by some who have said that Boeing is trying to undercut the Joint Strike Fighter program.
